On July 1, 2011 a five-second downburst destroyed over 100 trees, giving me a new hobby in building-repair and landscaping. The downburst added another weather event to the typhoon and hurricane I had already experienced. Common to all three events was the corrugated steel roofing soaring and spinning like boomerangs.
